The 2025 government primary school scholarship exam will be held from December 21 to 24. This year, only government primary school students will be able to take the scholarship exam. This has been stated in a notification by the Department of Primary Education.

The 2025 primary scholarship exam will be held from December 21 to 24.

The scholarship exam will be held in four subjects. These are—
1. Bengali

2. English

3. Primary Mathematics

4. Bangladesh and World Introduction and Primary Science. The exam marks will be distributed as follows—

A total of 400 marks will be tested. Marks will be distributed in each subject—

1. Bengali- 100 marks,

2. English- 100 marks,

3. Primary Mathematics- 100 marks,

4. Bangladesh and World Introduction and Primary Science- 50+50= 100 marks.

The exam time will be—

The government primary scholarship exam will be conducted in four subjects with 100 marks in each subject for a total of 400 marks. The duration of each exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Students from some institutions will be able to participate in the scholarship exam—

1. Government Primary School

2. PTI-affiliated testing schools

3. Primary schools adjacent to government secondary schools.

Important information: It has been made mandatory for all government primary schools and PTI-affiliated testing schools to participate in the scholarship test.

Participation rate in the primary scholarship test—
Currently, students studying in the fifth grade will be selected as ‘participants in the primary scholarship test’ based on the evaluation of the first term exam results. A maximum of 40 percent of students from a school will be selected to participate in the scholarship test.
